Frequently asked questions
Straight answers about systems, scheduling, performance, pricing, and service area.
How fast can you turn a floor around?
Most coating systems can return to foot traffic in 6–8 hours and normal service within 24 hours. We also work nights and weekends to limit downtime.
Can your floors handle forklift traffic and heavy machinery?
Yes. Our commercial polyurea systems are four times stronger than traditional epoxy and specified for heavy traffic, impact, and abrasion.
Do your coatings meet food safety and NSF standards?
Yes. We install NSF-rated systems designed to support USDA and FDA food-facility requirements.
What is the difference between polyurea and epoxy?
Polyurea is more flexible, UV-stable, and impact resistant than standard epoxy, and it cures up to five times faster.
How do you handle moisture issues?
We test moisture vapor emission before work begins and specify a moisture-mitigation primer when the slab requires it.
What if the concrete has cracks, damage, or oil contamination?
We repair cracks and surface damage before coating. Oil-saturated slabs receive specialized mechanical preparation so the system can bond properly.
How much does commercial floor coating cost per square foot?
Most commercial systems range from $4–$9 per square foot. We provide a free on-site assessment and itemized estimate based on the slab and performance needs.
What is your service area?
We are based in Grand Rapids, MI 49546 and serve a standard 100-mile radius, extending to 150 miles or more for projects over 10,000 square feet.
Do you offer warranties?
Yes. Our systems include a written warranty against delamination and peeling, with details provided in your proposal.
