Forklift-rated systems with aisle striping for the warehouse clusters off 36th Street, Patterson Ave and the Gerald R. Ford airport corridor.
Grand Rapids, MI
Our home market — warehouses, breweries, production plants and service bays across Kent County.

A1 Concrete Coatings is headquartered in Grand Rapids, MI 49546, and this is where the majority of our work happens. From the industrial corridor along 28th Street to the manufacturing park districts on the northeast side, we coat and polish floors for facilities that cannot afford a week of downtime.
Grand Rapids concrete has a particular personality. A large share of the building stock was poured between the 1950s and 1980s, which means slabs with no vapor barrier, decades of oil saturation, control joints that have spalled, and prior epoxy that was rolled over an unprepared surface. Every one of those conditions is fixable — but only if the contractor tests for it before quoting.
We run moisture vapor emission testing on every Grand Rapids project, grind with planetary diamond equipment rather than acid etching, repair joints and spalls, and then install polyurea and polyaspartic systems that return to service in 24 hours. For facilities where a coating is not the right answer, we polish the existing slab instead.
